Cameron Peupion has revealed fellow Australians Mat Ryan and Aaron Mooy have encouraged him to work hard after signing for Brighton.

The 17-year-old has been recruited from A-League club Sydney FC.

He told The Argus: "When I was over there I was lucky enough to meet them. They were really nice.

"Hopefully I can push for a first team spot in the next couple of years and hopefully play alongside them.

"They said keep pushing hard, keep working hard and you never know when your chance will come. It was nice to meet them – nice guys."
