Brighton are continuing to push to sign Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair.
The Mirror says Brighton are set to step up their efforts to land McNair after selling Conor Goldson to Rangers.
Premier League Albion sold stopper Goldson to Steven Gerrard's new Scottish club on Wednesday.
Now boss Chris Hughton will bid again for ex-Manchester United trainee McNair, who is one of Sunderland's big earners.
The Seagulls have seen offers of around £2milion and £3.5m rejected.
