Brighton fullback Tariq Lamptey has sung the praises of manager Roberto de Zerbi.

Now fully fit, Lamptey has worked his way into De Zerbi's plans.

He said, "I really enjoy working with Roberto. Every game we play is a new challenge and he always gives us the tools to play. It's a really exciting time for the club and I'm happy to be a part of it with him.

"You can see by watching him on the touchline how passionate he is, he kicks and heads every ball with us, and it's exactly the same in training every day. He demands a high level and expects a lot. We like to learn as much as possible because he gives us the best chances to get a positive result."
