Brighton have failed with a second bid for Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair.
Sky Sports says Sunderland have turned down a second bid from Brighton for McNair - this time for £3.5m.
The Premier League club failed with a £2m bid for the 23-year-old earlier this week.
In addition, Sunderland have turned down an offer of £3.75m for McNair, this time from an unnamed London club.
Sunderland now face a season in League One after their relegation.
