Brighton defender Webster: Liverpool draw great start for Roberto

Brighton defender Adam Webster says manager Roberto de Zerbi is sure to be pleased after their 3-3 draw at Liverpool.

After Leandro Trossard's equaliser, the Italian sprinted a few yards down the touchline before embracing his assistant Andrea Maldera.

“I didn't see the gaffer's celebrations be honest, I had been too busy trying to chase [Mo] Salah around the pitch all afternoon!" said Webster to the club's website

“For Roberto the games don't get much tougher to start especially after the international break when over half the squad have been away with their countries.

“It's been difficult because we've not had the time to work on things but it's a great start for us under Roberto.

“It felt like the first game of the season because of the break we've had. The pre-match feeling was excitement and a mix of nerves. It is a new start for everyone so you've got to try and impress and I feel we did that.".
