Brighton are closing on a move for PSV midfielder Davy Propper, according to the Daily Mail.

The Dutch international scored 10 goals in 43 games for PSV in all competitions last season and is expected to cost £3.5million to the Seagulls.

The report claims that both clubs are in advanced negotiations over the 25-year-old and Brighton are hopeful of concluding a deal in next 48 hours.

The Seagulls will begin life in Premier League with a home game against Manchester City on Saturday.
