Brighton chiefs have cooled talk of interest in River Plate star Rafael Borre.

The Argus reports Brighton are mystified by a report in Argentina suggesting they are ready to make an offer for Colombia international Borre.

The 25-year-old, 5ft 9ins forward is running out of contract with River.
