Brighton captain Lewis Dunk has won praise for his performance with England on Tuesday.

Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher was impressed by Dunk in England's 3-1 friendly win in Scotland.

He told the Telegraph: “Centre-back is a weak area of the squad but Lewis Dunk's performances for Brighton under Roberto De Zerbi have given Southgate a good option – someone who is performing every week in a side which will play in Europe.

"Dunk impressed on Tuesday night."
