Brighton boss Graham Potter insists Ben White is not for sale.

White signed a new contract last summer, taking him through to June, 2022, when he left for his season at Leeds.

He has since been linked with interest from several Premier League outfits, including Arsenal.

Potter said there had been no talks in-house about the player's future – and nor did there need to be.

He added: “He's contracted with us and he's our player.

“We leave the speculation to others and we get on with our jobs.

“He's our player. I've personally liked him since we saw him (when on loan) at Newport.

“We wanted to sign him when I was at Swansea.

“I'm delighted that he's had a great experience with Leeds.

“But he's our player and I'm looking forward to working with him."
