Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi has admitted his admiration for AC Milan.

De Zerbi is being linked with Barcelona this past week.

He told Sky Italia: "When I hear that big clubs show interest in me, then I feel honoured. I am proud, but my focus is the daily work.

"I would like to challenge to win the Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, La Liga and Champions League in my career."

He added, "For me, Milan is no ordinary club, because as a player I was born in Milan. I will feel gratitude to Milan my whole life.

"I love my country, I love Italy, I love Italian football. It is clear that one of my goals is to return to and work in my country, but I don't know when that will be."
