Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi has explained why he was so happy with their midweek win.
The Albion were able to beat French giants Marseille 1-0 in the Europa League group stages.
Albion are now through to the last 16 of the competition and skip the round of 32 playoffs.
Post-game, De Zerbi admits beating Italy legend Gennaro Gattuso's Marseille "closed the circle" after he was beaten as Foggia coach by Gattuso's Oisa in a Serie C playoff.
De Zerbi said: “This game in a way closes a circle.
“It was against Rino Gattuso I lost the most important game of my career up to now.
“This win I dedicate to my former players at Foggia, who lost the match, and to the fans.
“This defeat will always stay with me but it's like today – everyone won together."
