Brighton attacker Mac Allister: If I leave - I want to say in Premier League

Alexis Mac Allister says if he's to leave Brighton, he'd prefer to stay in the Premier League.

The 24-year-old World Cup winner is expected to leave Brighton this summer.

"I don't have a special team where I say: 'this is the way I play'. I think there are very strong teams here in the Premier League, such as Manchester City and Arsenal. Chelsea too, I had (Graham) Potter as a coach and I know how he thinks about football," Mac Allister told TyC Sports.

"Manchester United are returning to what they were, and Liverpool are going through some ups and downs but they still have a very important team. If I had to say one place, I would like my next step to be in the Premier League.

"But the truth is I'm very focused on Brighton and enjoying the moment."

Mac Allister has scored seven goals in 22 competitive games for Brighton this season.
