Brentford midfielder Josh McEachran supports former club Chelsea's European loan network.

McEachran believes Chelsea's young players benefit more from competing on the continent than in England's lower divisions.

He told The Times: "I would always advise young players to go abroad.

"Nothing against League One or League Two, but you benefit in my experience more when you switch to smaller teams in the Eredivisie or Bundesliga."

McEachran, 25, left Chelsea three years ago for the Bees.
