Aston Villa are believed to be showing interest in Brentford goalkeeper David Button.
The Daily Mail reports that the 26-year old journeyman has impressed the Villans with his performances for the Bees in the Championship this season.
Villa are looking to add to their keeping stocks, which currently consist of Brad Guzan and Shay Given, and could go after Button if Brentford fail in their pursuit of promotion to the Premier League.
The London outfit head to Middlesbrough on Friday for the second leg of their Championship semi-final play-off after losing 2-1 at home last week.
During his career, former Tottenham youngster Button has experienced no less than 13 loan spells.
The Stevenage-born custodian, who worked with Villa goalkeeping coach Tony Parks at Tottenham, moved to Charlton Athletic from Spurs in 2012 prior to his shift to Griffin Park in the summer of 2013.
