Brentford goalkeeper Ben Winterbottom has penned a new deal.

The former Liverpool trainee has signed terms to 2025. He is currently on-loan with Welling United.

Bees director of football Phil Giles said: “Ben has done very well for us since he joined us, so I'm pleased that he's agreed to stay with us longer and continue his development.

“Even though he has yet to make his first-team debut it's important to note that he plays an important role around the first team on a daily basis.

"He will remain with Welling until January and then we can decide with Ben the next steps of his career."
