Brentford closing deal for Wolves defender Nathan Collins

Brentford appear to be inching closer to completing a £23 million deal to sign Wolves defender Nathan Collins.

The centre back, who is out of favor at Wolves under boss Julen Lopetegui, is still highly rated.

Per The Mail, Brentford were among many teams vying for his signature, but appear to have won the race.

Collins only signed for Wolves a year ago, but struggled for regular game time when Lopetegui took charge.

Wolves were also asked to sell fellow defender Max Kilman, with Italian champions Napoli putting in a big bid.

However, they are looking to hold onto Kilman, as he is seen as a first team regular by Lopetegui.
