Brentford boss Frank: We showed never-say-die attitude for Bournemouth draw

Brentford boss Thomas Frank hailed their team spirit after their 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

A late equaliser from Bryan Mbeumo earned the hosts their point.

Frank said: "For the neutral, it was unbelievably entertaining. Of course, I was a little bit irritated that we didn't get three points but, putting that aside quickly, I want to focus on a very good performance.

“Good first half, fantastic second half - I think we just ran over Bournemouth, we created chance after chance after chance.

“How we didn't score more goals is incredible. I'm a big believer that if you play this game 100 times, we would win it 98 out of 100; draw one - that was today - and lose one.

“We made a mistake that gave them a goal but that happens. I said to Rico [Henry] to keep his head up because he's been good in that situation 999 times out of 1,000, so that happens.

“But the character, wow. The never-say-die attitude. The Gtech, when they're rocking and bouncing, is fantastic."
