Brentford boss Thomas Frank has denied dropping Sergi Canos over his social media activity.
Canos was missing for their 0-0 draw with Leeds United.
Going into the game, Canos retweeted a video of a goal from last season and wrote: "I loved every second of that game. It was one out of 31 games last season where I played the position I'm supposed to play."
After the 0-0 draw against Leeds, Frank was asked if he had dropped Canos because of the post.
He said, "No not at all. The players can tweet whatever they want. I think Canos is training well and I think he's been one of our most important players for the past six seasons.
"It was just a team selection, and I think that others have trained better."
