Brenford boss Frank happy with Crystal Palace draw; praises away fans for Eriksen welcome

Brenford boss Thomas Frank was satisfied with their 0-0 draw against Crystal Palace.

The Dane was left satisfied with the performance.

Frank said: "We got a point, first and foremost. I think this performance is the same level as the Wolves game – if there should have been a narrow winner, it should have been us.

"Today, again, it should have been a narrow winner – us. We created good opportunities. We gave one chance away which was our only mistake, I'd say. If we can keep that up, we'd be in a good place.

"We needed to create more to get one goal – that's maybe down to the quality on the day. There are a lot of positives to take from this game."

On Ivan Toney's absence, he added: "We always miss Ivan when he's not there. We need to have more than one player. Wissa did a good job today, but it would have been fantastic to have Ivan. It's good to know that we have some offensive quality waiting for us. It was good to see Josh Dasilva getting 30 minutes."

On Christian Eriksen's pre-match appearance, Frank said: "Unfortunately I couldn't experience the moment – I hope someone could record it. I'm pleased that the Crystal Palace fans applauded him. It'll be a big moment in world football when he steps out on to the pitch to play. We're pleased he's with us, but we'd have supported him whichever club he was with."
