Brazilian Bruno Carazine set for Sydney FC trial

Brazilian striker Bruno Carazine will train with Sydney FC today as the A-League club continues their search for a new goalscorer.

The 27-year old former Palmeiras and Chengdu Blades man landed in Sydney on Sunday and today will train with the Sky Blues for the first time.

Head coach Vitezslav Lavicka is keen to bring in some attacking depth following the loss of John Aloisi to Melbourne Heart in the off-season and the retirement of Steve Corica and Carazine, who has played for 12 clubs since 2002, may be his man.

Carazine has played mainly in Brazil's Campeonato Serie B, most recently with Vila Nova, but has also had stints in Asia with Chengdu (China) and Gyeongnam (Korea) and in Europe with AC Martina (Italy) and Terrassa (Spain).
