Claudio Bravo's future at Manchester City has been thrown into further doubt after the club lodged a £2.6m bid for Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
According to the Daily Mail, Napoli have rejected the offer, but they are willing to offload the 34-year old for £4.4m.
Reina's contract with Napoli expires at the end of the season and he has been unable to come to an agreement over an extension.
With Joe Hart and Angus Gunn leaving the club on loan, and Willy Caballero joining Chelsea, City are left with two keepers.
Bravo, who joined the club for £15.4m from Barcelona last summer, failed to impress in his debut season for City.
And if Reina does arrive at City, the Chilean may find himself as the third-choice keeper at the start of the season.
