Bournemouth have suffered an injury blow through Adam Smith.
Smith has been ruled out until February after surgery on a knee injury.
Defender Smith damaged cartilage in his right knee during Bournemouth's defeat at Newcastle before the international break.
Smith, 27, had to be carried off on a stretcher at St James's Park after he tried to take a quick free-kick.
But, after seeing a knee specialist, Bournemouth confirmed the injury is not as bad as first feared and Smith will be sidelined for up to three months.
