Bournemouth are stalling on allowing Jack Simpson to leave.

Sky Sports says Simpson's move to Rangers move has been delayed.

The Bournemouth centre-back was set to go to Ibrox on loan.

But the Cherries have suffered an injury blow to fellow central defender Nathan Ake.

Ake suffered a knock during Bournemouth's friendly against Marseille yesterday.
