Bournemouth boss Iraola discusses Spurs threat; meeting Foley face-to-face

Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola knows they face a tough test against Tottenham.

The Cherries host Spurs on Saturday in the early kickoff.

Iraola said: "They are a good team, they want to keep the ball, they try to attract you in the build up. If you don't go to press, they don't lose the ball but if you go they will attract their spaces. It's a game where you have to take the right decisions, when to push, when to keep your back and let's hope we can take them tomorrow.

"I think we watched their [pre-season] game against Shakhtar, they played really really well. It was a good game, good atmosphere where we could see the players live, which we like to do, its not always easy but we went to see the game, yes."

Iraola was also asked today about his relationship with owner Bill Foley.

He said: "We first spoke on the phone, by zoom conversations. But it's true we haven't met in person and probably even today, later, we will have the chance. I think we are happy with the players we have, I started from day one and I am happy with the players I had from the beginning.

"My job is to work with the squad we have."
