Bournemouth boss Howe coy over Ibe future

Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe is coy over the future of winger Jordon Ibe.

Londoner Ibe has only made four first-team appearances for Howe's men this season, his last came in the Carabao Cup defeat to Burton in September.

A £15million signing from Liverpool in 2016, Ibe's contract expires in the summer.

Asked if the former Wycombe youngster still had a future at Cherries, Howe said: “Every player that's here has a future at this club, it's always dependant on the player. Jordon played in the game, overcame his hamstring injury, so let's see what the next step is.

“Every player that's here until the day they leave the club has a future and has the ability to change his future every day by how they train and how they approach the game."

Asked whether he had a message for Ibe, Howe replied: “Not through the press, I'd never do it that way. That's not my style, I will always speak to the player individually."
