Manchester City remain in contact with Bordeaux for midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.

French sources say City scouts were in the stands for Bordeaux's clash with Toulouse to check on Gourcuff. Arsenal, for their part, have gone cold on the France international.

Earlier this summer, Gourcuff's father, Christian, was given a tour of City's facilities.

City may now resume talks with Bordeaux for the midfielder, whose contract carries a £22 million buyout clause.
