Bony: I'll prove doubters wrong over Man City move

Wilfried Bony is confident proving the doubters wrong over his move to Manchester City.

The former Swansea City striker knows there's skepticism over his chances of making it at City.

"People say 'he won't play there'," said the 26-year-old to the Mail on Sunday. "But this is football, I'm going to fight.

"There are so many strikers, but at least that the manager wants to pick strikers. So why not me?

"It was the same before when I came from Holland to Swansea, there was Michu, there were a lot of Spanish players, and it was very difficult to play.

"The most important thing is even if I get five, or ten minutes, or a half, I have to do my best.

"It was always important for me to get to the top. I'm happy about the expectation, because, yes, I did a great to job before, to get to go to Manchester City. It's a great challenge for me, but the work I did in the last four years earned it."
