Wilfried Bony was frustrated not to make a goalscoring debut for Manchester City in their rout of Newcastle United.

Bony, City's £25million January signing, was denied a debut goal after he appeared off the bench for the final 30 minutes.

"The goalkeeper made a great save," Bony said. "I was a little bit disappointed but when I saw the result I started to laugh.

"It would be great if I scored but I will take it next time."
