Bolton Wanderers boss Sammy Lee hopes to secure goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen's future this week.
Jaaskelainen's future should be resolved in the coming days after representatives of the Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper flew to Finland today.
Sunderland have bid £2 million for Jaaskelainen, 32, who wants a £40,000-a-week four-year deal to stay put.
