Bologna assistant coach Alexandre Hugeux says they were delighted with victory over Sassuolo.
Bologna won 4-2, with Lewis Ferguson and Giovani Fabbian among those on the scoresheet.
Hugeux said: "We gave ourselves a nice evening: we started in a bit of a strange way but then we showed character, it's a deserved victory for the boys and for the many fans who were with us tonight too.
"The players who joined during the match made the difference, a sign of a group that always helps each other.
"Let's get back to victory after missing it for a while, we'll enjoy it and then from Tuesday we'll think about Lecce."
