RB Leipzig expect to sell Josko Gvardiol next month - for a world record fee.

Despite penning new terms earlier this season, Gvardiol has an agreement with RBL that he can leave in January so long as the buying club pays a world record €90m for the defender, says BILD.

And waiting in the wings to do just are Todd Boehly's Chelsea.

Some of Europe's biggest clubs have expressed interest in Gviardol, but have since dropped out due to RBL's demands.

For the moment, Chelsea are regarded as favourites to sign the Croatia international.
