Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams has confirmed that the Ewood Park outfit has increased their bid for an unnamed striker. Williams told the Lancashire Telegraph: "We have made an improved offer for a player and are waiting to hear the outcome of it. Negotiations will be ongoing this week."
