Blackburn Rovers are closing in on a deal for Barry Douglas from Leeds United.

Douglas is surplus to requirements at Leeds at the moment.

Per the Lancashire Telegraph, the two clubs engaged in talks regarding the player.

It is possible he could sign on Friday in a deal that sees him join Rovers on loan for the rest of this season.

Rovers are desperate to add a left back to their squad before the Friday deadline.

Douglas is 31-years-old and has experience with Dundee United, Lech Poznań, Konyaspor, Wolves and Leeds.
