Birmingham City signing Alex Hleb admits he regrets leaving Arsenal for Barcelona two years ago.
Hleb is happy to be back in the Premier League, after admitting his move to the Nou Camp from Arsenal two years ago was a mistake. He spent last season on loan at Stuttgart.
He added: "I was very happy with Arsenal. Birmingham is not the same as Arsenal but I want to take this chance.
"It's very professional here but at Arsenal everything is new and a bit better at the training ground, plus they play in the Champions League every year.
"I regretted leaving Arsenal. Not a lot of players say 'No' to Barca. But if I'd known before what would happen, I wouldn't have gone there. I was unhappy. I didn't play much. I lost form and confidence."
