Besiktas coach Slaven Bilic is firming as favourite to succeed Sam Allardyce as West Ham United manager,

The Mail on Sunday says some bookmakers closed markets on Slaven Bilic becoming the club's new boss on Saturday after David Moyes turned the job down and it became clear that Rafa Benitez was out of their reach.

Real Madrid have moved for the former Chelsea and Liverpool manager and Napoli have offered him £5.6m a year to stay in Italy.

And Bilic further emerged as 'the only viable option' when Jurgen Klopp turned the Hammers down.
