AC Milan coach Pippo Inzaghi is safe - for now.
Despite a disappointing 2-2 draw with Hellas Verona, Gazzetta dello Sport says Inzaghi will remain in charge for their next game with Fiorentina.
Milan president Silvio Berlusconi was angered by Inzaghi's team selection for the draw, particularly with the benching of Mattia Destro.
Berlusconi exchanged several phone calls with GM Adriano Galliani throughout the day, but in the end no crisis meeting was scheduled as both men agreed to persist with Inzaghi for another week.
However, if Milan are beaten in Florence this week, Inzaghi is expected to be immediately fired.
Long-serving No2 Mauro Tassotti is expected to step in should Inzaghi be sacked, though youth coach Cristian Brocchi is also a candidate.
