Benfica are set to burn off competition from across Europe for Velez Sarsfield starlet Gianluca Prestianni.

Just 17, Prestianni has made 39 appearances for Velez and has had Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona and Real Madrid all chasing his signature.

However, O Jogo says Prestianni is set to join Benfica in January.

The winger will be clear to move to Europe at the end of the winter market when he turns 18.

Benfica are ready to pay €8m to sign Prestianni.
