Belgium coach Roberto Martinez is delighted with the impact of Brighton attacker Leandro Trossard.
The Albion star scored twice for Belgium as they thrashed Belarus 8-0 last night. He has now scored in three successive starts for club and country.
Martinez said: "He has taken a step forward in maturity since the October and November international get togethers.
“Since then, he has been really impressive.
“What he did on his way up to the game in Prague (a 1-1 draw in which Trossard went on as sub) shows he's ready."
Trossard's physique and style of play make comparisons with Eden Hazard inevitable - but only when the Albion man is performing well.
Martinez said: “They are different players but they have a similar profile, even if they are not comparable.
“They operate in the same area of the field and are right-footers who play on the left."
