Bayern Munich insiders fear they could have shot themselves in the foot last week.
Comments from president Uli Hoeness about Tottenham and Harry Kane have not gone down well in England.
Hoeness, an honorary Bayern president, claimed that Kane wanted to move to Bayern and that Spurs would have to sell him.
Per The Mail, Bayern are worried they have now made life harder for themselves in negotiations.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy does not want to sell Kane and wants a gigantic fee to even consider the prospect.
Even though Kane only has a year left on his contract, Spurs believes improvements this season will convince him to renew later in the campaign.
