Manchester City outcast Kalvin Phillips may be offered a shock escape route from the Premier League.

The defensive midfielder has been completely out of favor since joining City at the start of the 2022/2023 season.

Phillips, who is the understudy to Rodri for boss Pep Guardiola, could be in line for a move to Germany.

Per The Sun, Bayern are said to have serious interest in Phillips, given Thomas Tuchel knows him from his Premier League days.

The German champions would look to make a move in January, while Phillips is eager to play regular football.

With Euro 2024 looming, the midfielder knows he must play to be in Gareth Southgate's team.
