Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski is ready to join Barcelona this summer.

As soon as the interest of Barça reached him and after hearing from coach Xavi, the Pole has done everything in his power to engineer a move away from Munich.

Lewandowski is aware of the club's difficult economic situation, but is very attracted by the challenge of playing at the Camp Nou, leading a new project and helping the club in a difficult time.

His agent, Pini Zahavi, has already informed Bayern of his the player's intentions, despite a year left on his contract.

Last Saturday, he also publicly expressed his desire to leave the Munich club.

"I want to go. Both parties have to find a solution," he told Sky Deutschland.
