Bayern Munich striker Kane: With family settled things getting easier

Harry Kane admits he's now feeling at home with Bayern Munich.

Kane has enjoyed a superb first six months with Bayern since arriving from Tottenham.

He told Kicker: “In the beginning there was so much going on, a lot of it revolved around work. I met a lot of new people and had to get used to the environment. It wasn't so easy when family wasn't there.

"Now everyone is here, the children are going to school and it's starting to feel like home, which is very important. I'm a guy who loves being home with his family and spending a lot of time with them. It's all new for them too, but I think it's a great experience.

"My wife has lived in London for most of her life - we are totally excited to start this new chapter together.

“It's definitely not easy, and you're always worried about the kids, whether they're having fun at school and making friends. But I'm sure they will. The good thing is that they are at a very good age to learn the language. They are probably faster than me (laughs). I think life is about experiences, and for us as a family, this is a big step.

"We're just going to soak it all in and enjoy it. Language ? It's progressing slowly. It's really difficult for me. I spend two hours a week learning the language. I try to listen when people around me speak German to pick up something here and there, but it takes time.

"That's life: you have a job, a family to take care of, and so on. As soon as the weather improves I will look for a few golf courses and play a few holes while the kids go to school. My life here is becoming more and more routine."
