Bayern Munich lean on Lewis to push Levy to drop Spurs price for Kane

Bayern Munich chiefs will push Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to drop his price for Harry Kane in a high-powered summit on Monday.

Levy has already softened his stance, reducing his valuation from £100m to €90m.

However, ahead of Bayern directors Jan-Christian Dreesen and Marco Neppe flying into London on Monday, the Daily Mail says Bayern will bid £75m.

The new offer is a slight raise on the £70m rejected by Levy a fortnight ago.

Bayern are convinced they're at an advantage after it emerged club owner Joe Lewis had ordered Levy to sell Kane if the striker continued to refuse to consider new contract talks. Kane's current deal has less than a year to run.

"Here in the Bundesliga we don't have many international stars any more," Bayern chairman Herbert Hainer told Kicker last week.

"Bayern always try to bring in stars. Harry Kane is a highly attractive player, the England captain and a top scorer. He would do us and the Bundesliga good."
