Bayern Munich inform Liverpool they'll drop Thiago price

Bayern Munich dropped their asking price for Thiago Alcantara.

The Spain midfielder wishes to leave Bayern at the end of the season and his favoured option is to join Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

Liverpool have been in contact with Bayern and intimated a willingness to pay €25m for Thiago, while Bayern's initial response was he would only leave for €35m.

However, BILD says a message from Bayern has now been sent to Liverpool to declare they're now prepared to sell for €30m.

Just last week, Klopp declared: "Thiago Alcántara is a fantastic player, but also a Bayern Munich player. That's actually all there is to say.

"There is nothing to say."
