Bayer Leverkusen have set Chelsea a deadline to complete the signing of Kai Havertz.

Bayer have told Chelsea they want a deal for Havertz wrapped up by August 28, says the Mirror.

The Blues have thus far been frustrated in their attempts to land the 21-year-old.

Bayer want a figure in the region of £90million for their prize asset, who enjoyed a magnificent 2019-20 season.

However, Chelsea chiefs are keen to seal a deal at around £70million.
