Bayer Leverkusen football chief Rudi Voller has slammed Liverpool for their role in the Super League breakaway group.
Voller has also praised German clubs for not taking part in the initial 12 team formation.
The World Cup winner blasted: "A club competition closed in this way is a crime against football."
Then, as an example, Voller brought up the example of Liverpool: "For a club where the fans sing 'You'll never walk alone' it is shameful.
"Borussia Dortmund and Bayern have not joined? It proves they have a backbone."
