Bayer Leverkusen chief Rolfes calm amid Bayern Munich, Liverpool rumours for Wirtz: He knows what he has here

Bayer Leverkusen chief Simon Rolfes says they're under no pressure to lose Florian Wirtz in 2024.

The young attacker is being watched by Liverpool and Bayern Munich this season, says BILD.

Rolfes admits Bayer are aware of the interest in their Germany international, but they're confident of his commitment.

He explained, "Honestly – Florian recognises how comfortable he feels here, the trust of the association and its environment give him stability.

"Florian is relaxed, his family and we are – there is no better constellation for him than for us."

Rolfes added, "Nobody needs to come because of Florian anyway. I can still see him after the European Championship with us.“
