Bayer Leverkusen boss Bosz heaps praise on 2-goal Havertz

Bayer Leverkusen boss Peter Bosz has heaped praise on Kai Havertz after his match-winning performance against Werder Bremen.

The 20-year-old scored a first-half brace in the 4-1 victory as Leverkusen moved to within one point of fourth-placed RB Leipzig.

He told reporters: "Kai [Havertz] is a special player, but I don't think he played his best game today. He can do much better.

"I've known him for a long time now and I know he can do much better. It has to do with the rhythm. But for every player the captain's armband is something special. And so it will be for Kai."

Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the Germany international.
