Bastia are set to beat Vitesse Arnhem for Chelsea teen João Rodriguez.
The exciting Colombian attacker has been the subject of loan talks with Vitesse as Chelsea management prepare to launch his senior career.
However, Bastia are now in talks with Chelsea about taking on Rodriguez this season.
Vitesse remain keen, though would prefer to take senior Blues teammate Josh McEachran ahead of the 17 year-old.
