Barnsley have snapped up former Chelsea midfielder Jacob Mellis.
The Daily Mail says Mellis, the midfielder released by Chelsea for setting off a smoke grenade, has agreed a two-year deal at Barnsley.
Mellis made just one appearance for Chelsea, coming on as a last minute substitute in the Champions League clash against Zilina in November 2010.
